Highlands Ranch Garage Door Repair, Junk Removal & Restoration

Veteran-owned ยท Serving Highlands Ranch

A Straight-Talking Garage Door Crew for Highlands Ranch

Highlands Ranch started going up in the early 1980s and grew one neighborhood at a time all the way to the Backcountry. That means many homes here have garage doors and openers that have been running for decades, and plenty of them are on borrowed time. Add Front Range hail, wind, and winter cold, plus HOA rules for anything that shows from the street, and you want a crew that knows the drill.

Mission GDS is veteran-owned and based in Parker, just east of here. We repair and install garage doors, haul out junk, and clean up water, fire, smoke, and storm damage. No fluff. We get it done!

Garage Door Repair in Highlands Ranch

If your door is slow, loud, crooked, or dead, we’ll figure out why and tell you straight whether it needs a repair or a replacement. Common calls:

  • Snapped springs and loose or broken cables
  • Doors that reverse, stop short, or won’t close
  • Openers that run but don’t move the door
  • Misaligned safety sensors and dead keypads
  • Bent tracks, worn rollers, and squeaky hinges
  • Hail-dented panels

Springs & Cables

A garage door’s springs do the heavy lifting, not the opener. When one breaks, the opener strains, the door may only rise a few inches, and you’ll often notice a gap in the spring above the door. Don’t keep hitting the button. We replace springs, inspect the cables and drums, and balance the door so the opener isn’t fighting it.

Openers

Older chain-drive openers are loud, and some older units don’t have the features newer models do. We repair what’s worth repairing and install new openers when it’s time, including quiet belt drives and smartphone-connected models. Details on our opener repair and installation page.

New Doors That Fit HOA Guidelines

Highlands Ranch is one big HOA community. Per the Highlands Ranch Community Association, replacing a garage door needs Architectural Review Committee approval, even for a like-for-like swap, and some neighborhoods have a sub-association review on top of that. We sell and install doors and openers, and we’ll help you pick a style, color, and window layout that fits your guidelines and give you the door details for your application. Keep in mind the approval itself comes from the HOA, not us.

Tune-Ups

Once a year, have someone check the balance, lube the moving parts, tighten the hardware, and test the auto-reverse. It’s the easiest way to keep a 20-year-old door from failing at the worst moment.

Garage Cleanouts & Junk Removal

Downsizing after the kids moved out? Getting ready to sell? Or just tired of parking on the driveway because the garage is a storage unit? We clear garages, basements, and storage rooms, and we haul furniture, appliances, old electronics, yard debris, and leftover project materials. Keep, toss, donate, you call it and we load it. Learn more about our garage cleanout service.

Water, Fire & Storm Damage Restoration

Finished basements are everywhere in Highlands Ranch, and they’re the first place water goes when a water heater fails, a supply line bursts, or a pipe freezes during a cold snap. Our water damage restoration work covers extraction, moisture checks, structural drying, dehumidifiers, and pulling out wet carpet pad, baseboards, and drywall so the framing can dry.

We also take on fire and smoke damage cleanup and storm damage, from hail and wind damage to fallen limbs and debris. If a storm takes out your garage door along with everything else, we’re one of the few restoration crews that can fix the door too.
