Garage Doors, Junk Removal & Restoration for Castle Rock Homes
Castle Rock sits a little over 6,000 feet up on the Palmer Divide, with the Rock keeping watch over downtown. That ridge tends to catch more snow than Denver does, summer storms drop hail without much warning, and a garage door that ran fine in July can quit on the first frigid January morning. Mission GDS is a veteran-owned crew based in Parker, right up the road, and we fix the things that go wrong around a Castle Rock home: garage doors, garages you can’t park in, and damage from water, fire, smoke, and storms.
You won’t get a sales pitch or the runaround. One call, a straight answer, and the job done right. We get it done!
Garage Door Repair & Installation in Castle Rock
Much of Castle Rock was built out as master-planned neighborhoods like The Meadows, Crystal Valley Ranch, Castlewood Ranch, and Terrain. A lot of those homes still have the door and opener the builder put in, and builder-grade parts don’t last forever. Here’s what we see most:
- Broken torsion springs and frayed cables
- Doors off track, crooked, or stuck halfway
- Openers that hum, click, or quit mid-cycle
- Safety sensors, remotes, and keypads acting up
- Grinding rollers, worn hinges, and loud doors
- Dented or cracked panels (hail and bumpers both count)
Spring Repair
Springs hold a lot of tension, and a worn one will often let go when the temperature drops hard. If you heard a bang in the garage and now the door won’t lift or feels like it weighs a ton, leave it closed and don’t try to muscle it up. Springs are not a YouTube project. Call us and we’ll replace the springs and check the cables, drums, and balance while we’re there.
Opener Repair & Replacement
Sometimes the door’s fine and the opener’s the problem. We troubleshoot and repair openers, and when replacing it makes more sense we install new ones, including quieter belt-drive and smartphone-connected models. More on our garage door opener repair and installation page.
New Garage Doors & Openers
We sell and install garage doors and openers, so you’re buying from the same crew that hangs the door. Most Castle Rock neighborhoods have an HOA, and Castle Pines does too. Bring your architectural guidelines and we’ll help you narrow down styles, colors, and window options that fit the rules before anything gets ordered.
Tune-Ups
A tune-up before winter beats a 6 a.m. surprise. We lube moving parts, tighten hardware, check spring balance and cables, and test the safety reverse.
Junk Removal & Garage Cleanouts in Castle Rock
A three-car garage and you can’t park a single car in it? We hear that a lot. Our crew hauls out old furniture, dead appliances, moving boxes, exercise equipment nobody uses, renovation debris, and whatever’s been stacked in the corner since you moved in. We also handle basement cleanouts, move-outs, and rental turnovers. You point, we lift, load, and haul. See our garage cleanout page for how it works.
Water, Fire & Storm Damage Restoration
Cold snaps freeze pipes. Finished basements take on water from a failed water heater or a sump that gave up. Spring and summer storms bring hail and wind that can punch through siding, roofs, and garage doors all at once. Mission GDS handles water damage restoration including water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and removing wet carpet pad and drywall so the structure can dry out properly.
Basement flood cleanup, fire and smoke damage cleanup, storm debris, and boarding up damaged openings are all part of the job. Since garage doors are our core trade, when a storm wrecks your door and soaks the garage, one crew can deal with both.
Why Castle Rock Calls a Veteran-Owned Local Crew
We’re based in Parker, a short drive up Crowfoot Valley Road or I-25. We don’t have a storefront in Castle Rock, and we won’t pretend we do. What we have is a crew that works this side of Douglas County and runs every job the way the military taught us:
- Communicate. You’ll know when we’re coming and what we found.
- Plain English. We explain the problem and your options, then you decide.
- No upsell games. If a repair makes more sense than a new door, we’ll say so.
- Leave it clean. Old parts and debris leave with us.

Castle Rock FAQ
Do you have an office in Castle Rock?
No. Mission GDS is based at 10336 S. Dransfeldt Road #10 in Parker, and we serve Castle Rock and Castle Pines from there.
Can you help me pick a door my HOA will approve?
Yes. Share your HOA’s guidelines and we’ll help you choose a style and color that fits. Getting the HOA’s sign-off is up to you, but we can give you the door details they’ll ask for.
My spring broke. Can I still open the door?
Don’t force it. With a broken spring the door is extremely heavy and can drop. Leave it closed and call us.
Do you do both junk removal and flood cleanup?
Yes. Garage doors, junk removal and cleanouts, and water, fire, and storm damage restoration all come from one crew.
